Why I love Nuun + Nuun Giveaway

29 Jul

My first try of Nuun was during the Seattle to Portland bike ride in 2009. There was a booth at every rest stop. We thought what the heck is that? Once I tried it I loved it. Now was that because I was riding 200 miles? I was tired, hungry, and thirsty!!

When I got back from that “little” adventure I tried it again and still loved it. I have been using Nuun to hydrate ever since then. I like the taste. It is not too sweet but just gives that little bit of something to water. Refreshing might be the word!! It has gotten me through countless sweat sessions, training, and racing.

Too many tubes to count!

Too many tubes to count!

I am totally obsessed. Greg always says you got ANOTHER package from Nuun. I say absolutely YES! You can never have too much!! The way I work-out and sweat! I need as many electrolytes as I can get!

Keeping hydrated is very important. 75% of all Americans are chronically dehydrated. It is not only important to drink water but to have electrolytes in your system as well. You can become dehydrated after just 2% of ones normal volume has been lost. That being said YOU need to keep hydrated!

Nuun is the best in keeping you hydrated. There is no sugar or carbs, just electrolytes. There is something for everyone:

Nuun Active Hydration: is for someone working out and sweating at high intensities needing more electrolytes. 14 flavors to choose from: Banana, Orange, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Kona Cola, Lemon Tea, Tri-Berry, Grape, Tropical, Citrus Fruit, Cherry Limeade, Watermelon, and Lemonade.

Nuun U Natural: keeps you hydrated when you are not working out. 4 flavors to choose from: Cucumber Mint, Goji Berry Green Tea, Tangerine Ginger, and Lemon Chai.

Nuun All Day:
this is a good way to keep the water from being “boring.” Just to keep you drinking and hydrating. Dehydration is #1 cause for daytime fatigue. 4 flavors to choose from: Grapefruit Orange, Tangerine Lime, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Grape Raspberry.

Maybe go for some water or better yet water with Nuun before you go back to the coffee pot in the afternoon.

I have got a giveaway for you!! Nuun is supplying me with a 4-pack to give to one of YOU!!! (All opinions are mine.)

I just discovered I’m almost out of Cherry Limeade — oh, the sadness! I really loved all three new flavors and I wish they’d bring back the summer sampler that sold them all together.
