Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

23 Feb

I have been wanting to make these cookies forever. I FINALLY DID IT!

On that note: I need to start watching my treats. 😦

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here is what you need!
1/4 C butter
1/2 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 C peanut butter
3 C GF rolled oats
6 oz chocolate chunks
1/2 C almonds (or other nut)

Here is what you do!
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl: mix butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, baking soda, and vanilla and mix well. Add peanut butter and mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate chunks, and nuts. Scoop a golf size ball of dough on a lightly greased cookie sheet about an inch apart. (It is sticky and a little hard to work with…be patient)

Bake 14-16 minutes until lightly browned around the edges.

These are excellent!

These cookies look delish! On a slightly random note- I saw a company on Shark Tank, The Cookie Dough Cafe, who makes cookie dough without eggs and baking soda that you can eat right outta the jar and I totally thought of you! Did you see that episode?!

Oatmeal cookies are my favorite! Love the idea of adding chocolate! I hope I find some time to bake soon!

You can add what ever you like too! Peanut butter chips or butterscotch chips. Or different nuts! 🙂

GF oatmeal chocolate chip cookies?! Yes, please! (Even though I recently started watching my sugar intake, too.)
